TUSC ANNOUNCES COLLEGE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM AND DIRECTOR
June 4th, 2020

Tennessee United Soccer Club is proud to announce the forming of our College Recruitment Program. It
is the aim of TUSC to form a coordinated effort and focus on providing additional information and
opportunities for our players that desire to play soccer in college. TUSC has helped place many players in
college soccer over the past 15 years, including 37 in the past 3 years. The official creation of this
program will only enhance the personalized and coordinated process for each individual player that
desires to play at the college level.

Eddie Carvacho, DOC U13-U19 said, “As the club continues its work to evolve into a stronger and
all-inclusive entity where teams continue to adapt and adopt our club player development framework and
curriculum, the player’s overall and long term well-being will always be placed as a priority in our
decisions. Many of our coaches over the past years have done a great job guiding and supporting our
players through the college recruiting process. We thank you. As part of a club centric direction with the
player at the core, we believe that bringing standardization to the college recruiting process, the sharing of
our club resources, the access and relationships to our collegiate coaching network and our collective
knowledge from our coaching staff, all players are to benefit at every juncture of their club journey. This
recipe will provide sustainable success for all TUSC players.”

We are proud to announce that Nat Hubert will be leading this new program as TUSC’s new Director of
College Recruitment. Nat came up in the England Academy system playing with Southampton,
Portsmouth, Bristol City and Birmingham. He arrived in Nashville by way of a full athletic scholarship to
play at Belmont University. After graduation he became Director of Player Development at Aris FC. He
moved back to England to earn his MBA and won a U19 National Championship. Nat moved back to
Nashville and began coaching at TUSC where he won a State Championship with the 03 Boys Red.
Hubert said, “I’m very excited for this opportunity and want to thank TUSC for believing in me and
trusting in me with this important job. Success to me will be getting individuals with the desire, mindset
and attitude into collegiate programs. I’m proud of all the club represents, and cannot wait to connect our
players in the club with collegiate programs across the country and push them to fulfill their dreams.”

The 3 pillars of the College Recruitment Program will be the following.
a. Coordinate College recruiting seminars and workshops
b. Individual Player Involvement
c. Coordinate club/player specific College ID showcase / camp for additional exposure
