TN United announces tryout and college ID showcase sessions for Girls High School age players in November.
TN United will hold two sessions on Sunday, November 20th at 11-1p.m. and 3-5p.m. open to all current high school aged girls on teams at TN United as well as high school age girls who have not yet signed a letter of commitment to play club soccer in 2011/2012. These sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for players who have not yet committed to a club to showcase their ability with existing TN United players if they are interested in joining an existing team, or as we form more teams in these age groups. Current TN United and unsigned players will also have an opportunity to showcase their talent to a number of college head and assistant coaches at the event who will be scouting players for the next level.
We're hopeful that you will be able to join us that day and have the opportunity to watch and meet players you may look to recruit at the college level in the future.
We'll have current college coaches running the training sessions and play 11 vs 11 games where you can assess players in a match environment.
Many of our former players are currently playing college soccer. Ex-TN United players are on the roster at King College, Tevecca University, TN Weslyan, Campbellsville University, Bethel college, Union university, Cincinnatti christian college, Cumberland university, Maryville college, Freed Hardman and Christian Brothers university.

TUSC 96 Girls Red player Kalie Carter became the first girl at the club to make the ODP region 3 team in our history. She is the second player in as many years to achieve that mark and our congratulations go out to her for her achievements. Kalie has captained the 96 team at TUSC and represented the ODP TN team admirably. She recently travelled to England with the TN 96 team where they trained at Chelsea Academy. Currently rehabing a knee injury, she has taken on a mentoring role as an assistant coach with our 99 girls red team coached by Daniel Fox. All of us at the club can't wait to see her back on the field soon representing TUSC, the state team, and the regional team.
